I’ll never forget the first time I saw you
The same direction, the same intention
As you passed me by
A small spark caught from your direction
Time passes; so many words thrown
Like hand grenades
The foundation started to crumble
Because the ground was blown
I’ll never forget the second time I saw you
You wore red to indicate the danger
That standing in your presence could find
There was something beautiful in this stranger
Time passes; so many hands thrown
Like bombs
The entire house was collapsing
Because there was no more calm
I’ll never forget the third time I saw you
An unspoken desire, an unspoken drive
How much we wanted the same thing
And yet; we shied away from seeing
Time stopped passing –
Every moment moved in slow
I saw something beautiful
And the waves crashed in; I was pulled in the undertow
