So what if it rained today?
The ground quenched for it
So what if it’s colder here?
The frosted glass reminds us
So what if we can’t see the ocean
The lakes surround us
Beyond the sky
A billion yes’ hit the satellite
Beyond the orbit
A billion years of nothingness
And I could dream that someday I could fly
Until I do, I send the planes
So what if the ground gets cold?
The warmth of summer brings gratitude
So what if the wind blows?
The calm that it brings reminds us
So what if we don’t have palm trees?
The woods surrounds us
Beyond the sky
Thousands of miles between you and I
Beyond the horizon
Thousands at war and peace
And I could dream of the day that you touch down
Until you do, I won’t ever forget your name
