With the Lights Out

“With the Lights Out” is a collection of poems that I have been working on for many months to get just right. While the title track is a brand new poem; the collection gets its name from another source – a 3 track trilogy called “The Transition of Light”. These tracks tell a story of the transition from contentment, happiness and security through the spiral to confusion, failure and loss.

Over the last 10 months, I’ve put a significant amount of time into trying to be conscious about only putting out poems that I can feel proud of and have the song version have the right sound. “West Branch”, “Lacuna” and “SOS” have each had several iterations that came close, but never hit the right sound. These versions finally meet the mark.
Releasing in June 2026.
